Get me to Maldives - Terms & Conditions

These conditions set out the terms that apply for all bookings made with GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD (hereafter known as “us” or “we”). This site is offered to you, the client, on the condition of your acceptance without modification of all terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. These must be read in conjunction with the information and advice, itineraries, rates and supplements provided by us with every reservation made with us, as well as any package holiday we provide. Any other terms will be communicated to clients prior to the confirmation of bookings in writing.

You must be of legal age (over 18 years) to create binding legal obligations that may cause liability on your part as a result of purchases made on this site online or offline. You accept full financial responsibility for all purchases made on this site.

Our rates are based on Room only, Breakfast Half board, Full Board, All-inclusive or any given meal plan basis accommodation unless otherwise stated or confirmed. Transfer rates are per person return transfer (Airport to Resort and Resort to Airport). All transfers will be made only from the Airport Island unless otherwise stated or confirmed. All prices are quoted in United States dollars and any fluctuations of prices due to government action or other similar cause may result in a surcharge being imposed.

If you want to pay by credit card, we will create a payment button and our office will give you a link by email where you can click to see the payment steps, you will be asked to pay deposit, full amount or part of the invoice amount depending on the resort / Hotel / Safari Boat / Extra activity and time frame you book. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS online credit card payment and it is provided by Bank of Maldives PLC E-Gateway.

Once the payment is done the payer will receive a confirmation email along with a payment receipt and Terms and conditions; Please keep the copy of transaction records and Policies and Rules for future reference.

We undertake to inform you without delay if we cancel your reservation and will offer you an alternative of at least a comparable standard (if one is available) or a refund of the deposit within 21 days based on our payment refund policy. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your accommodation is available on your arrival. However, if we are aware of it being overbooked before the time of your departure, we will inform you and offer you an alternative of at least equal standard (if available). If we are unaware of the overbooking at the time of your departure then we would offer appropriate compensation, if the alternative accommodation offered is substandard to the accommodation originally booked. Please also do note that Maldives Resorts and Hotels are legally allowed to overbook by 20%.

We accept responsibility for ensuring that the services we deliver to you are of the highest standard possible.

We accept responsibility for the negligent acts and errors of our employees. We cannot, however, be held responsible for any other circumstances that lead to the death, bodily injury or illness of you or any other individual.

If you have a complaint or are unhappy with the services provided, please make it known as soon as possible, either to the management of the accommodation, the guide or directly to us. Please provide the fullest details as early as possible. Every effort will be made to arrive at a fair and satisfactory conclusion for the best of all involved.

Once a reservation is confirmed, you will require to pay in full if the booking is in cancellation period or you can pay partly as per agreed at the time. All payment amount and time limits should be agreed by both parties before making any deposits. We require 100% of the total amount as a deposit for groups of 12 and above.

Part or partial payment will NOT be accepted for any bookings or bills invoice or invoices. No refund will be made by cancelling the booking, regardless of the booking is out of cancellation period or inside cancellation period of the resort/ hotel booking.

We require payment in full after confirmation of your booking from our end. You can pay with your credit card, using a wire transfer to move the total amount to our bank account We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express Cards, full payment must be made immediately. If you cancel your reservation, your payment is subject to cancellation charges. Please check the relevant cancellation charge for your reservation before you confirm any bookings, as different Resorts / Hotels impose different cancellation charges and may also vary depending on the time of year.

Once the booking is confirmed and FULL Payment is received, we will provide you with a confirmation Voucher. You will need to print and present the voucher along with your original Passport to the Hotel reception on arrival at the time of check-in.

All transfer Rates are quoted per person (Airport/Resort/Airport) by local Motorboat called Dhoni, Fast Boat, Speed boat, Seaplane, Helicopter or Domestic Plane and are combined/group transfer rates (Not Individual private transfers) & guests may have to wait at Airport to join other passengers or may have to leave earlier than checkout time depending on the schedule of the transfers. Also depending weather or other such natural cause transfers may be upgraded to another mode of transfer available or downgraded and any such downgrade will be refunded or compensated. Seaplane’s fly between 06:00hrs to 16:00hrs. Guests arriving after 16:00hrs on any International flight & guests with departure flights leaving before 09:00hrs have to stay First & Last night in Male’. Luggage allowance for Seaplane transfer is 25Kg per pax. Excess will be charged USD2 per Kg. Seaplanes will not fly if the weather is bad. Clients are to bear all expenses (extension or any such) * Luggage allowance and Accesses charge are subjects to change without prior notice

You are recommended to ensure, when making your reservation that you and your party are insured against all relevant risks, including all locations and places you intend to visit throughout your holiday in the Maldives.

We have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure that the information provided by us is fair and correct at the time it was supplied, and that the facilities are available as described for each resort or vessel. However, as we do not own the accommodation, we exclude liability for subsequent alterations and the withdrawal and amendment of facilities (whether due to climatic conditions, vandalizing or abuse, cleaning, repair or legal, regulatory, seasonal or other local reasons).

Transportation and accommodation of clients are subject to international conventions, which override any contract, expressed or implied between our clients and us. We cannot be held liable if any client is refused admission into the Republic of the Maldives. The possession of valid passports, and/or other required travel documents, such as airline tickets and hotel vouchers at the proper time, is the sole responsibility of the client. Liability for the failure of any client to observe the law of the Maldivian Government during a visit is excluded. We will not be held responsible for any delay in transferring of clients or any other delay under such circumstances

We are not liable for the failure to meet dietary requirements, unless these were clearly stated when booking. We strongly urge everyone to read and agree with the terms and conditions before making any reservation through GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD. If you disagree with the Booking Terms and Conditions in any way, please inform us before confirming any reservations with us. Similarly, we reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD website or its owned other websites as mentioned below or receipt of such changes by email or in writing, following the posting of changes to these Terms and Conditions constitutes your binding acceptance of these changes.

Please review our privacy policy which also governs your visit to this site to understand our practices. GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD privacy policy will provide a description of how we use and protect your personal information. If you object to your information being transferred or used in this way, please do not use our services.

We accept any confirmed cancellation of a reservation. Such a cancellation is effective on the day it is received by us. The client will be notified of the acceptance of the cancellation. The cancellation policy applies to all reservations and is your (the client’s) duty to be aware of any applicable cancellation charges. These policies will take precedence over the policy stated below. Generally, cancellation charges are depending on Hotel by Hotel and Period by Period. * We will refund you the balance of your deposit, payment to your bank account by TT, after deducting if any cancellation and after deducting administrative charges.

In the Maldives, different resorts / hotels and other tourist related facilities follow different cancellation policies and charges vary at different periods of the year. Once again make sure you are aware of the cancelation charges for your reservation before you book with us.

Booking Invoice Total below ($ 2000)

Administrative fee for above mentioned invoice values is $ 100.00 in case of cancellation refund.

Booking invoice Total between ($2001.00 – $ 5000.00)

Administrative fee for above mentioned invoice values is $ 200.00 in case of cancellation refund.

Booking invoice Total between ($5,001.00 – $ 10,000.00)

Administrative fee for above mentioned invoice values is $ 350.00 in case of cancellation refund.

Booking invoice Total between ($10,001.00 – $ 30,000.00)

Administrative fee for above mentioned invoice values is $ 400.00 in case of cancellation refund.

Booking invoice Total between ($30,001.00 – $ 50,000.00)

Administrative fee for above mentioned invoice values is $ 500.00 in case of cancellation refund.

Booking invoice Total between ($ 50,001.00 – $ 100,000.00)

Administrative fee for above mentioned invoice values is $ 800.00 in case of cancellation refund.

Booking invoice Total above: ($ 100,000.00)

Administrative fee for above mentioned invoice values is $ 1000.00 in case of cancellation refund.

Booking inside the cancellation period requires 100% non-refundable payment in order to confirm a booking. Note once again: Part payment or partial payment for any invoice(s) is acceptable at nonrefundable basis only.

No-Shows Charges: No shows will be charged 100% of our invoice and no refund will be made.

Early Departures Charges: Early departures are treated as a cancellation and 100% of the total invoice value for the unused nights will be charged and no refund will be made Booking cancellations Policies & Policies for Refunds made of the cancellation period Depending on the mode of payment below mentioned charges will be deducted in order to make a refund of the booking cancelled out of the cancellation period. If the payment was by bank transfer an administration fee as per booking invoice value + incurred bank charges If the payment was by credit card, 5% processing fee + administration fee as per booking invoice value will be incurred A refund will be made the same way the payment was received: Credit card payment: To the credit card which was used for payment. ** Telegraphic transfer/bank wire: Refund to the account held by the primary customer it will take 3-6 weeks, excluding public and banking holidays, for the refund to be credited to your account or credit card. Please be informed that we require a written confirmation of payment receipt.

Changes by you:

If the requested change of a confirmed booking is made more than 14 days before departure and is accepted by us, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of up to EURO or USD$ 30 per booking, plus any extra charges resulting from the change of booking. In any other case, the request will be treated, at our discretion, as a cancellation.

Extension of Stay / Amendments or Cancel:

In case you would like to extend your stay, you must contact us immediately to extend. Please note that any Extension(s) you made without our confirmation direct with the Hotel are not covered by us. All amendments & cancellation must be sent via email communicated to you (at) hello@getmetomaldives.com or sales@getmetomaldives.com and such will be ONLY valid if you receive an email from us confirming the same. This does not mean that the requested amendment or cancellation is made unless we confirm such change. Action will be taken and status with details including any charges, either positive or negative will be notified, soonest possible.

THE SERVICES AND MATERIALS ON THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE PURSUANT TO APPLICABLE LAW, WE, AND OUR PARTNER HOTELS, PROVIDERS OR DISTRIBUTORS, DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: (1) IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND TITLE TO ANY OF THE SERVICES AND MATERIALS PROVIDED ON THE SITE; (2) ANY WARRANTIES THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE SERVICES AND MATERIALS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SITE OR THE SERVER THAT MAKES IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; (3) ANY WARRANTIES REGARDING THE USE, OR RESULTS OF THE USE, OF THE SERVICES AND MATERIALS ON THE SITE IN TERMS OF THEIR CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, TIMELINESS, OR OTHERWISE. YOU ALONE ASSUME ANY AND ALL COSTS ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE. APPLICABLE LAW MAY NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF ANY LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SET FORTH IN GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD’S WEB SITE RULES AND REGULATIONS, GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD PVT. LTD. AND THE SERVICE PROVIDERS ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY, AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, ANY DAMAGES TO, OR VIRUSES THAT MAY INFECT YOUR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT OR OTHER PROPERTY ON ACCOUNT OF YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR BROWSING IN THIS SITE OR YOUR DOWNLOADING OF ANY MATERIALS, DATA, TEXT, IMAGES, VIDEO OR AUDIO FROM THE SITE. IN NO EVENT SHALL GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD PVT. LTD. OR ANY SERVICE PROVIDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, CLAIM, DAMAGE, OR ANY SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, WHICH ARISES OUT OF OR IS IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH (A) ANY USE OF THE SITE OR CONTENT FOUND HEREIN, (B) ANY FAILURE OR DELAY, OR (C) THE PERFORMANCE OR NON-PERFORMANCE BY GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD PVT. LTD. OR ANY SERVICE PROVIDER, EVEN IF SUCH PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGES TO SUCH PARTIES OR ANY OTHER PARTY. SOME COUNTRIES AND US STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, SO THE FOREGOING LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

By using this site, you signify your binding agreement to these Terms. GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions or all of terms and conditions at any time. Please check these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes.

Your continued use of the GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD website or receipt of such changes by email or in writing, following the posting of changes to these Terms and Conditions constitutes your binding acceptance of these changes. Further, we may change any or all content on the Site, including, but not limited to, products, programs, and/or services described on or offered through the GET ME TO MALDIVES PVT LTD website, without prior notice and without liability.
